About

February 11th, 2008

KiteFreeStyle.com (KFS) launched officially in February 2008, is an online TV show with a magazine style format dedicated to land based kiting. With broadband internet access becoming faster and more widespread streaming good quality video is now a reality.

KFS is the only online TV show focusing on land based kiting. We cover all areas of land based kiting but focus mostly on the freestyle aspect of the sport. KFS is produced by kiters who are involved in the sport on many different levels and are aiming to inform and entertain a variety of viewers ranging from beginners to top riders to those who work in the industry.

Our coverage features:
- Interviews with riders and people involved in the industry
- Events and competitions both in the UK and abroad
- Tutorials on everything from trick tips to gear maintenance
- Travel features both in the UK and abroad
- The latest freestyle action from a wide variety of riders and locations

KFS has been in the works for 18 months and been through a number of revisions before we ever launched. The original concept was thought up in a caravan near Westward Ho! in September 2005 but it was a while before any work commenced.
